Joël Broekaert
Joël Broekaert (b. 1982) is a culinary journalist, writer, and reviewer for NRC. He also produces food-inspired television programmes and podcasts. He is a jury member of the Dutch Celebrity MasterChef.

Previously he published De alleseter (The Omnivore, 2017), Van honingbij tot hagelslag (From Honeybee to Chocolate Sprinkles, 2021), and, together with Joris Bijdendijk, the bestseller Bij Bijdendijk thuis (At Home with Bijdendijk, 2022). In 2022, he published Proefles (Trial Lesson), a culinary guide to tasting food.
