Sana Valiulina

Sana Valiulina (b.1964 in Tallinn) studied Norwegian language and literature in Moscow and has lived in Amsterdam since 1989.

Previous titles include The Cross (2000), From Nowhere with Love (2002), Didar and Faruk (2006, nominated for the Libris Literature Prize), Hundred Years of Companionship (2010), the acclaimed Children of Brezhnev (2014), Winter Showers (2016, winner of the Jan Hanlo Essay Prize), Grabbing a Wolf by His Ears (2020) and Root and Branch (2021).
