Clarice Gargard
Clarice Gargard (b. 1988) is an award-winning journalist, writer, documentary maker and community organizer who works at the intersection of journalism, art, social justice, philosophy and mysticism.

Her community work led to the cofounding of grassroots organizations like the queer organization Black Pride NL and journalistic feminist platform Lilith Magazine. In 2019 she served as The Netherlands’ Women’s Representative at the UN General Assembly. Previously she wrote Daughter of Dragons: In Search of My Father, Right Hand Man of Liberian Dictator Charles Taylor (2019). Her work includes collaborations and conversations with global artists and academics like Zadie Smith, Nikole Hannah Jones, Edith Eger, Saul Williams, Sarah Ahmed and Carrie Mae Weems.
