Sholeh Rezazadeh

Sholeh Rezazadeh (b. 1989) is an Iranian-Dutch writer of prose and poetry, widely praised for her poetic, distinctive style. Born in Iran, she moved to the Netherlands in 2015. Her debut novel De hemel is altijd paars (The Sky Is Always Purple) won multiple prizes. Her second novel received a Special Mention from the European Union Prize for Literature, her poetry debut went into several reprints, and she wrote the Dutch Book Week poem for 2025.
