Saskia Goldschmidt

Saskia Goldschmidt (b. 1954) made her debut in 2011 with 'Verplicht gelukkig, portret van een familie' (Obliged to be Happy: Portrait of a Family), the story of her search for her Jewish family history that had previously been swept under the rug. In 2012 she published the successful novel 'De hormoonfabriek' (The Hormone Factory), which was followed by 'De voddenkoningin' (The Vintage Queen) and 'Shocked Earth'. She also edited 'Dagboek uit Bergen-Belsen' (Diary from Bergen-Belsen) by Renata Laqueur.
