Marloes Morshuis
Marloes Morshuis (b. 1970) initially self-published her fairy-tale debut, 'Koken voor de keizer' (Cooking for the Emperor), but it was spotted by Lemniscaat, one of the best-known children’s publishers in the Netherlands, and she joined their list of authors.

Her second adventure story, Borealis, is about environmental issues and was enthusiastically received as a chilling eco-thriller. Both books have already been translated into German.
