Marek van der Jagt
Marek van der Jagt (1967) is a pseudonym of Arnon Grunberg.
Fiction
Van der Jagt made his debut in 2000 with the novel De geschiedenis van mijn kaalheid (The Story of my Baldness). The book became a great success, partially because of the confusion surrounding the author’s identity, and was awarded the Anton Wachter Prize for the best debut. It was translated into German, French and English, among others. Van der Jagt further published the novel Gstaad 95-98 (2002) and the essay Monogaam (Monogamous, 2004).
