Fiction

Over the course of her career, she grew from a realist author into a writer with an almost impressionistic approach to portraying women’s inner lives. Her last novel, Eva (1927), is both her most well-known and most experimental work. In her book-length essay Prometheus (1919), she applied her philosophical beliefs about independence to world history.
