Nadia Meezen

Nadia Meezen (1993) is an illustrator from the Netherlands. She discovered her love for drawing and story-writing at a young age, using that passion to bring dashes of colour to the predominantly white world she grew up in. Since receiving her BA in Animation from the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam in 2014, she has worked as a concept artist and designer for animation films and series for over a decade. The first children’s book she illustrated came out in 2021. Since then, she has illustrated more than 15 books by renowned authors such as Janneke Schotveld and Tjibbe Veldkamp.
