Erik Kriek

Erik Kriek (b. 1966) is an illustrator and comic book artist. His illustrations have been published in The Boston Globe, Weltwoche, de Volkskrant, NRC, Vrij Nederland, Het Parool and the VPRO Gids. He is also a designer of record albums, posters and skateboards. In 2008 he won the Stripschapprijs, the Netherlands’ most prestigious award for cartoonists. His work has been translated into Arabic, Czech, English, German, French, Italian, Serbian, Spanish and Swedish.
