Sander Kollaard

Sander Kollaard (b. 1961) has been living and working in the Swedish countryside since 2006, in a former vicarage which he shares with his wife and three children. He made his debut in 2012 with the short story collection, Immediate Return of Your Loved Ones, which received the 2004 Lucy B. and C.W. van der Hoogt Prize. In 2015 he published his first novel, Stage Four, which was the Book of the Month on prime-time talk show De wereld draait door. The novel went on to sell over 10,000 copies. He published the short story collection Life News in 2018 and the novel A Dog’s Day the following year, which received the Libris Prize and the Inktaap young readers’ award.
