Feeling at home in the world, just as it is.
A picture book about the natural warmth and love between a grandma and her grandchild, in which cultural diversity is taken as given.
A white grandmother and her dark-skinned granddaughter are walking through the town. They meet a lot of folk: a tramp, a baker, a punk and people with lots of different skin colours. Ibi is impressed by what she’s seen. Grandma ponders her question about what she saw: ‘I think I was just looking at you,’ she says.
This is an original picture book about a sense of security and feeling at home in the world as it is.
