Internationally acclaimed Dutch authors celebrate the exchange of ideas with their American counterparts in the "Stay Tuned" Reading Series (2002) organized by the Foundation for the Production and the Translation of Dutch Literature in Amsterdam. This series of lectures, readings, and talks will take place in venues throughout the city. Eleven authors, constituting the largest group of Dutch writers to come to the United States at one time, will participate in these events. Though united by a common language their literary forms, topics, and concerns express each artist's unique sensibility. The cumulative effect of this group will give American audiences a generous overview of Dutch letters today.

"Are there any more brilliant
Dutch writers out there awaiting
English translation?
Stay tuned."
