The Dutch Embassy in Berlin and the Dutch Foundation for Literature produce in cooperation with Flanders Literature and the General Representation of the Government of Flanders the Kopje Koffie (‘Cup of Coffee’) podcast, aimed at German readers and listeners. Dutch writers with a new translation in German are invited to talk about their work.

The database offers access to the large collection of foreign translations which form the core of the Dutch Foundation for Literature’s library.

Schwob.nl brings quality literature from all points of the compass to the attention of Dutch readers, editors and publishers. There are important books that remain unknown to us, books we never hear or read about and that are unavailable in Dutch. Schwob.nl is a showcase website for these forgotten or undiscovered books. Schwob is created by translators into and out of Dutch, foreign publishers and editors, researchers, readers and critics.

Visitors' Programme

The Foundation for Dutch Literature annually invites a number of ‘guest editors’ to come to Amsterdam, in order to meet with publishers, authors and translators, and to get acquainted with Dutch literary life in general. Over the last few years some fifty foreign editors and publishers have been our guests for a visit to Amsterdam of three or four days.
