Djenné Fila (b. 1995) graduated cum laude from art school. She caused a sensation with her colour mixed-technique illustrations in Het beest met de kracht van tien paarden (2019) and Schaduw van Toet (2021) by Lida Dijkstra. Fila won the prestigious silver European Design Award for De Vuurvogel (2020) by Bette Westera.
