Dutch and Flemish authors in Leipzig

At the Leipzig Book Fair, which takes place from March 12 to March 15, the Dutch Foundation for Literature and the Flemish Literature Fund will be present, as the Netherlands and Flanders are Guest of Honour at the Frankfurt Book Fair in 2016.

The programme Leipzig liest pays attention to Dutch language literature. On Thursday, March 12, poets Andy Fierens, Marc Kregting and Els Moors will read in club naTo. On Saturday, March 14, publisher Christoph Buchwald will interview authors Jan Brokken, Saskia Goldschmidt and Arjan Visser in club Telegraph about their work, which has recently been translated into German.

Thomas Möhlmann, grants manager poetry, and Reintje Gianotten, will represent the Dutch Foundation for Literature in Leipzig. Both will have meetings with German publishers. The Frankfurt 2016-team will be represented by artistic director Bart Moeyaert, project director Bas Pauw and communications officer Sonja Peters.
