At the invitation of the Dutch Foundation for Literature, German writer Katharina Teutsch will live and work in Amsterdam as a writer-in-residence from November 21st until December the 24th.
Katharina Teutsch (1977) studied in Berlin and Paris and works as a freelance presenter, literary critic and journalist for the Frankfurt Allgemeine Zeitung, Die Zeit and Philosophie Magazin. She regularly produces radio programmes on humanities and linguistics for public broadcasting. Currently she is working on her first book, a cultural history on animals, which will be published at Matthes & Seitz Verlag where Judith Schalansky also has her “Naturkunden” series.
