The Nanfang International Literary Festival in Guangzhou will be held from 18th to 24th of August. The festival will focus on recently translated Dutch literature - fiction and non-fiction.
Four Dutch writers will participate: Jos de Mul, Abram de Swaan, Jelle Reumer and Kader Abdolah.
Sinologist and translator Mark Leenhouts, and Mireille Berman and Maarten Valken - both from the Dutch Foundation for Literature - will also be present.
