Masresha Mammo will declaim a column on June 5th during a political debate organized by Amnesty International. Mammo is a journalist and a writer from Ethiopia and has been invited by the Dutch Foundation for Literature and the city of Amsterdam to stay in the city for one year.
Amnesty International organizes a political debate on human rigths and Dutch trade relations with Ethiopia, China and Indonesia. One part of the programma is a debate between the UN Special Reporter of Freedom of Expression, Association and Assembly, mr. Maina Kiai and Human Rights Ambassador of the Dutch Government, mr. The debate is English spoken and takes place in the Internationaal Perscentrum Nieuwspoort in The Hague, from 6.30 pm until 8.00 p.m. The entrance is free and one can sign up by sending an email to Marleen van Soelen.
