German publishers visit the Netherlands

18-23 May 2014

The Dutch Foundation for Literature and the Flemish Literature Fund have invited ten German publishers for a thorough introduction to the book industry and the literary infrastructure of the Low Countries.

The participants of the ‘Publishers Tour’ are George M. Oswald (Berlin Verlag, Berlin), Sabine Cramer (DuMont, Köln), Tatjana Michaelis (Hanser, München), Daniel Kampa (Hoffmann und Campe, Hamburg), Nathalie Buchholz (Klett-Cotta, Stuttgart), Viola Eckelt & Axel von Ernst (Lilienfeld, Düsseldorf), Christian Ruzicska (Secession, Berlin), Thomas Sparr (Suhrkamp, Berlin) and Thorsten Ahrend (Wallstein, Göttingen). During their stay they will meet publishers and editors, authors and critics, both in The Netherlands and Flanders.

The Netherlands and Flanders will jointly present themselves as guests of honour at the Frankfurter Buchmesse 2016, the publishing industry’s most important international book fair.
