Luuk van Middelaar will visit Madrid and Barcelona to promote the Spanish translation of his book The Passage to Europe (2009). Galaxia Gutenberg publishers will launch El Paso Hacia Europa at the end of November.
Van Middelaar is a historian and political philosopher, and describes the relation between European power politics since 1500 and the current political affairs in the Brussels institution.
