On the 24th of October, Connie Palmen will present a reading from the German translation of her novel Logboek van een onbarmhartig jaar (Diary of a Relentless Year) in the Buchhändlerkeller in Berlin.

Palmen’s latest novel deals with the mourning process after the death of her husband Hans van Mierlo in 2010. The German translation is called Logbuch eines unbarmherzigen Jahres.
