At the Beijing International Book Fair (BIBF) the Dutch Foundation for Literature will be represented by non-fiction specialist Mireille Berman and managing director Tiziano Perez. They will talk to thirty Chinese publishers. For this occasion the Chinese brochure New Titles from the Netherlands has been produced, which highlights both fiction, non-fiction and children’s books. At the BIBF literary translator and China-expert Mark Leenhouts will assist the Dutch Foundation as interpreter.
Over the last decade and a half, ever since the Dutch Foundation for Literature started exploring the Chinese book market, almost 500 translations of Dutch literature have been published (either in Chinese or Complex Chinese). An overview of these titles may be found in our translations database.
