User survey

6 March 2018

Once every four years the Dutch Foundation for Literature asks an independent agency to find out what ‘users of the Foundation’, particularly publishers, other literary organisations, writers and translators, think of the policies, communication and service of the Dutch Foundation.

Many editors, publishers, and other contacts abroad will have received an invitation for our survey this afternoon. We’d be most grateful for your contribution. The results of this survey will be used to improve our service to you in the future.

The questionnaire includes questions about the provision of information, communication, grants, major literary events (such as the Guest of Honour program at the Frankfurter Buchmesse 2016) and other programs of the Dutch Foundation for Literature. All questions focus on the two recent years, 2016 and 2017.

Your anonymity is guaranteed as the independent agency, IVA Onderwijs, will process your responses in such a way that they will not be traceable to you personally. IVA Onderwijs was also responsible for the smooth running of the earlier survey, four years ago.

We’d very much appreciate your feedback.

A report of the results of the current survey will be published this summer on the website of the Dutch Foundation for Literature.

If you are a receiver of our English newsletter or if your publishing house has recently been in touch with the Dutch Foundation, for instance by having applied for a translation grant in 2016 or 2017, but you have not yet received an invitation for this survey: please be so kind as to check the spam box in your Mail inbox. All invitations have been send out at February the 15th, around 17.15 on behalf of the Dutch Foundation for Literature, with the subject line ‘Invitation Survey User-friendliness’.

The survey will be closed on Tuesday March 20th.
