Preview Read My World

12-13 April 2017

This year’s edition of the Read My World festival, to take place in the fall of 2017, will be devoted to Black American literature. Maurice C. Ruffin (writer) en Shantrelle P. Lewis (US based curator and researcher), are the two curators of this year’s edition. On Wednesday evening the 12th of April they will introduce themselves (in Perdu) to the public and will announce some of the writers, bloggers, poets, storytellers and journalists they have chosen to perform at the festival. The next day, on Thursday afternoon (April 13th) they will talk on Black American Literature in Spui25. Both events may be attended for free, but a reservation is required.

The Amsterdam-based Read My World festival is supported by the Dutch Foundation for Literature.
