In the last week of June, a group of international editors and publishers will visit Amsterdam upon invitation by the Dutch Foundation for Literature. During a four-day-programme they will be introduced to numerous Dutch publishers, editors, right managers and literary authors.

The annual Amsterdam Fellowship for International Publishers is being held for the seventh time. The previous six editions were successfull, both the fellows and the Dutch publishers were very enthusiastic about the opportunities provided. The Amsterdam Fellowship resulted in translations of many Dutch books, including works by authors such as Kader Abdolah (Italy), Jan Brokken (Italy and France), Herman Koch (France), Hugo Claus (Germany), Threes Anna (Canada), Danielle Hermans (Spain), Anna Enquist (Czech Republic), Jacqueline van Maarssen (Hungary), Gerbrand Bakker (Croatia), Hans Croiset (Germany), Pieter Webeling (France), Tommy Wieringa (South-Africa) and Toine Heijmans (Germany).
The Amsterdam Fellowship for International Publishers is organized by the Dutch Foundation for Literature and Bookalicious, and is made possible by the Dutch Foundation for Literature, the CPNB and several Dutch publishing houses.
