Karen Köhler (1974) has been an actress for several years, but nowadays she writes theatre scripts and prose. Her first novel Wir haben Raketen geangelt (‘We caught rockets’) has already sold 35,000 copies in Germany. It has been awarded with the Schubart-Literaturförderpreis and the Rauriser Literaturpreis 2015. On the 13th of November 2015 Köhler will perform at the Crossing Border Festival in The Hague.
