Herman Vuijsje is a sociologist and journalist. Some of his books include Nieuwe vrijgestelden (The Yuppies, 1977) about the laziness of the baby boomers and Pelgrim zonder God (Pilgrim Without God, 1991) about his inverted pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela. Correct was awarded the 1999 Prix des Ambassadeurs.
