Marije Tolman

The picture books of Marije Tolman (b. 1976) have been published in more than ten countries. Tolman often uses mixed media, and the resulting work is a combination of art and illustration. She conquered the world with The Tree House (2009), which she created with her artist father, Ronald Tolman, winning a number of prizes, including the Bologna Ragazzi Award.
