Enne Koens will be in Berlin from 11 to 21 September, where she will give various lectures and workshops to promote the German translation of her children’s book Ik ben Vincent en ik ben niet bang (I am Vincent and I am not Afraid), illustrated by Maartje Kuiper. The book was translated into German by Andrea Kluitmann and published as Ich bin Vincent und ich habe keine Angst by Gerstenberg.
Enne Koens writes plays, songs and books for adults and children. In 2007 she made her debut with the adult novel Tot alles gezegd is (Until Everything Is Said). This was followed by her YA novel Vogel (Bird), which was awarded the Young Jury Debut Prize, and the much-praised reading book for younger readers Sammie en opa (Sammie and Grandpa), which was awarded several prizes . I am Vincent and I am not afraid appeared in 2017.
