Guadalajara International Book Fair

Barbara den Ouden, grants manager fiction and graphic novels, will attend the Guadalajara International Book Fair. She will travel travel to Guadalajara with Dutch poet and author Hagar Peeters.
At the Guadalajara International Book Fair (FIL 2018) Barbara den Ouden has a table in the Rights Centre (111) where she will talk about Dutch literature and show our new Spanish brochure. She will also speak in a panel about Support Programs for Translation and Publication and give a presentation about the graphic novel and comics in the Netherlands on Tuesday 27 November.
Barbara will travel to Guadalajara together with Hagar Peeters, a Dutch poet and author whose successful novel Malva, about the daughter of Pablo Neruda, was translated under the same title into Arabic, German, English and Spanish; a French translation is in preparation. Hagar Peeters will take part in the European Literature Festival, visit schools and she will also be interviewed in Impronta Casa Editora, by Valentín Ortiz.
