Last year’s Leipzig Book Fair marked the start of This is what we share, the ambitious literary program that was at the core of the Dutch-Flemish guest-of-honour presentation in Frankfurt. The Dutch Foundation for Literature returns to Leipzig this year, to shape the follow-up and to talk to publishers, festivals, literary venues and translators.
New poetry by Frisian poets Tsead Bruinja and Elmar Kuiper will appear in German translation (edition virgines). On Thursday 23rd March the Sächsisches Psychiatriemuseum will host an evening dedicated to the monumental novel Das Büro by J.J. Voskuil, with among others translator Gerd Busse.
