Astronomer Lucas Ellerbroek (1984) studied Theoretical Physics and obtained a PhD in Astrophysics at the University of Amsterdam. He is well known in the Netherlands for his television appearances, TedX talks and for co-founding Nerd Nite Amsterdam. Currently, he works as a strategy consultant for the Boston Consulting Group and as a freelance journalist for NRC Handelsblad and popular science youth magazine Kijk.
